This is the adapter cable only. This will allow a wireless bluetooth enabled PC, Laptop or Pocket PC to communicate with
the Meade LX200 Autostar II, Celestron CGE NexStar hand controller or Astro-Physics 900GTO (may work on all GTO mounts). The bluetooth serial port plug takes power from the LX200 RS232, CGE AUX port or any 4 to 5 V DC power source. These ports output 12V DC so a 12 to 5V DC to DC converter is used to drop the voltage down to the 5V DC that the bluetooth serial plug requires. Any 5V DC power source can be used but this way everything is self contained.
This setup is with the free 2 move bluetooth unit.It has been tested using a CGE 1400, Meade LX200GPS and Astro-Physics 900GTO with a hp iPAQ h2210 Pocket PC running TheSky Pocket Edition and Windows XP laptop with MegaStar 5, SkyChart III, Visual Basic 6 and Microsoft .NET framework 2.0
