Celestron PC Port Cable for the CPS, CPC, AS-GT, CGEM Lengths from 6’ - 100’
This cable is connected from the serial port of a computer to the PC Port on the base of the GPS, CPC and CGE telescopes. The same cable can be used with the AS-GT, CGEM, NexStar 5i/8i, NexStar SE and NexStar SLT with an *Otional Auxiliary Port Accessory Kit (part number 93965) The two uses of this connection would be to run NexRemote without the use of the real hand control and to update the motor control firmware in the mount. .
The PC port on the base of the scope is a standard RJ-45, so it is fairly easy to build a cable using a flat RJ-45 cable and a DB-9 (female) to RJ-45

These are use this to connect the guide port on your SBIG camera to the guide input port on your telescope mount.
This is a “flipped” cable, the standard for telephone-style cable wiring, where the left-most conductor on one end becomes the right-most conductor on the opposite end. It has the 6p6c RJ-12 style modular telephone connector.
When people refer to the “ST-4” guider port or more correctly “SG-4” port, this is the cable that fits the port utilizing the pin #2 ground systems. Available in Stock 6’-25’ and custom lengths.
